Usage

For protective cultivation:
Disinfect soil by the solar-heat and granular lime nitrogen method, which can effectively prevent and control many soil-borne diseases, insect damage and weeds and can improve the physical-chemical function of soil. 1 Application period The product is applied after harvesting selected crops and cleaning fields (greenhouses), usually in June, July or August at high temperature in the north and appropriately in June, July, August or September after the plum rains in the south. If there is much sunshine, other time is also OK. Uniformly spread 60-80 kg of granular lime nitrogen per mu over fields. Plow fields through rotary cultivators or manual work to make lime nitrogen granules go deep into soil (the depth of 20-30cm would be the best) so as to increase the contact area of soil as much as possible. Make ridges 30cm high and 60-70cm wide, and seal the ridges by using transparent film (old non-broken film is also OK) to cover the ground so as to completely seal soil surface. Carry out irrigation among ridges, namely, to carry out irrigation down from film till ridge surfaces are moist enough; irrigate the places with much water leaking once again (but there is no need to keep accumulating water, and keeping the moisture content of soil above 70% is OK). Seal greenhouses, namely, to repair the broken parts of greenhouses, pay attention to ensuring no air leakage on inlets/outlets and irrigation ditches, completely seal greenhouses and wait for 15-20 days; the waiting time is long at low temperature or high consumption and is short at high temperature or low consumption; the treatment time is usually 15-20 days. Lift up film for airing-sunning, namely, to ventilate or air-sun for 1-2 days after completing disinfection and then to seed or transplant seedlings. (In the areas without straw, fowl manure and other decomposed organic fertilizer can be used instead of straw, or granular lime nitrogen can be directly spread over fields to disinfect soil by the same operation method as above.)
For open field culture:
Can alleviate many kinds of soil-borne diseases and insect damage, prevent and control weeds, improve soil and decelerate the effect of nitrogen fertilizer.
(1) Application condition: Soil temperature kept above 15℃.
(2) Operation procedure: Uniformly spread 40-60 kg of granular lime nitrogen per mu during land preparation; turn over soil at the depth of 20-30 cm to ensure full contact with soil; irrigate soil to keep the moisture content of soil over 70% (covering soil with mulching film can be adopted in the areas under permissible conditions, which can make soil warm fast and ensure good moisture-preserving effect); seed or field-plant crops after 20-30 days when soil temperature is 15-20℃ or after 15-20 days when soil temperature is above 20℃.
Caution: 1. For solanaceous vegetables, pay attention to the proportion of calcium to nitrogen in order to avoid overnutrition and excessive growth.
2. Overwintering eggs of knot nematode can incubate when soil temperature is above 15℃, and the stress resistance of knot nematode is bad in the larva period, so performing prevention by medicaments in this period can obtain good result.
1. Pesticide effect
(1) Disinfect soil:
Prevent and control club root, sclerotinia, seedling blight and other soil-borne diseases; eliminate continuous cropping obstacles and improve the stress resistance of crops;
(2) Control pests:
Prevent and control the damage of underground pests, effectively control or kill knot nematode, prevent and eliminate harmful organisms in paddy fields;
(3) Inhibit weeds:
Reduce weeds and manual labor and prevent weeds fighting again seedlings for nutrition.
2. Fertilizer effect:
(1) Decelerate the effect of nitrogen fertilizer:
Granular lime nitrogen is a kind of slow-release nitrogen fertilizer of which the effect can last 3-4 months, can reduce the application amount of other nitrogen fertilizer, has the function of reducing the nitrate content of agricultural products, and significantly improves output;
(2) Replenish calcium:
Meet the demand of crops growth for calcium (the calcium content is 38%), make up for lack of calcium in soil, improve the quality and appearance of agricultural products and prolong storage period.
3. Improve soil:
(1) Improve the crumb structure of soil and adjust acid soil to make it more suitable for crop growth;
(2) Accelerate the decomposed, composted or rotted effect of organisms, increase the organic matter content of soil and improve soil fertility.
4. Protect environment
(1) Have the characteristics of natural fertilizer and no residue, without polluting soil and water sources;
(2) Used for deodorize dung in livestock/poultry farms and can prevent ecological environmental pollution.

Caution: During the application of lime nitrogen, you should wear a mouth mask and working clothes and keep away from livestock living quarters, and do not drink alcoholic beverages within 24 hours for fear of causing chest stuffiness and other adverse chemical reactions. In case of poisoning or mistaken taking, do not try to vomit but drink more water. In case of contact with skin, take off polluted clothes and clean skin. In case of contact with eyes, open and rinse eyes with plenty of water or seek medical advice as soon as possible.
