Properties: White or slightly reddish crystalline powder, soft, almost insoluble in water and alcohol, unstable to heat, gradually decomposes above 45°C, turning red, decomposition point 166-167°C.
Uses: Mainly used in the dye industry, used to prepare 3-amino-5-carboxy-12.4-triazole and cationic red 2BL, X-GRL synthesis, used in the synthesis of drugs such as cilostazol and propamidoxime; pesticides, such as thiofuroxim. It is also a synthetic raw material for color film, plastic foaming agents and the explosive Tetrazole.
